Addo Elephant Park is one of the national parks in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa and stretches over 630 square miles in size. It is the third largest national park in the country. It is home to the entire big 5, and its Elephant are direct descendants from 11 original Elephant from the area. Elephant Back Safari:

Interact with Elephants! Situated roughly 1 hour away from base camp, lies an Elephant sanctuary, that allows you get up close and personal to these massive creatures. The sanctuary is home to 5 Elephants, and allows you two options of simply interacting with the animals or the opportunity to ride on the back of Africa’s largest mammal.

Animal Interaction – +-45 minutes

Elephant Back Ride + – 15 minutes

Non Hunters SPA Treatment:

For the non-hunters, we can assist in organizing a day trip for some pampering to the coastal town of Port Alfred. This usually will allow for a stop-over at Africa’s oldest licensed pub for a lunch and a beverage.

Souvenir Shopping:

During weekdays, we can assist in visiting one of the local souvenir shops in order to purchase all your required African artifacts, souvenirs, gifts etc. Should your departure day fall on a weekday, we have access to a large shop 10 minutes away from Port Elizabeth Airport.

Big 5 Private Game Reserve:

Visit one of the nearby privately owned big 5 game reserves in the area, with an excellent chance at seeing most of the big 5 in one day. This is an excellent opportunity to get some awesome footage at close range to the best that Africa has to offer.
